Held Aloft – levitating into space.

Sometimes we need a little bit of help.

Bette Midler once shared that we can fly higher than an eagle as long as we have someone being the wind beneath our wings.

That is an amazing thought, and I do believe that we all need someone to make us able to soar gracefully every now and then.

Someone once said that falling down is an accident, but staying down is a choice. Let’s face it; we all fall from time to time. But as in any lesson in life we have to learn how to fall.

Is falling just a different way of flying?

In Phenomenology we learn that we see things from our own experience, and the meaning we find in this experience, thus meaning that what seems true to me, is de facto the truth, and not de jure.

But what if we have a broken wing? Or if it has been ripped off? What do we do then to be able to fly, soar, ascend, descend….

A balloon? Filled up with something that sometimes makes us hear funny voices.

So what about the balloon? For how long will it keep us afloat? Will the invisible substance within it disappear? Will it deflate?

We may slowly start to descend, but we have the choice to inflate another balloon. We also have the choice to ask someone to inflate it for us.

You wouldn’t believe what people will do for you. If you let them.
